Operational hours:
Mon-Sat. 0730-2000 or beyond with rotated calls at night and on Saturday and Sundays
- We dialyze our patients using both Fresenius T and Fresenius K machines.
- 12 total stations; 8 stations in main hospital building and 4 stations in Tower. Main Building and Tower are connected by a bridge.
- Primary Telemetry: nurses are offered a course or test out with experience.
- Nurses will be certified to care for Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) patients.
- Dialyze patients from every unit in hospital as well performing dialysis in the ICUs
- Nurse patient ratio; 1:2 in dialysis unit and 1:1 in ICUs
- Shared Peritoneal dialysis (PD) responsibility with the floors
- APPs on site Mon-Friday
- Close working relationships with nephrologist
- Very active quality initiative committee champions.

Embark on a rewarding journey with our 8TN/8TS Hematology-Oncology units, where passion meets purpose in the fight against cancer. Our team utilizes evidence-based chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatment plans and clinical practice guidelines for symptom management. In addition, the unit participates in clinical research to advance care and treatment options for oncology patients.
About the unit: (Oncology experience preferred, but not required. This unit is willing to train if you have a strong interest in Cancer care.)
- 18 bed unit, Medical Oncology patients, treat solid tumors for surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and end of life; Conduct research and is a part of clinical trial
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
