We're seeking an Oncology Access Nurse responsible for enhancing the patient experience by providing a seamless navigation process from diagnosis to survivorship. This individual will:
- Responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary teams to triage, coordinate, and consistently manage patient care by educating, providing a link to research, serving as the primary point of contact for patients and families and providing indirect patient care.
- Works with patients and families to answer questions, provide emotional support and solve issues concerning the cycle of care.
Additional Details: Will be a fully remote role after 4-8 weeks of onsite training.
Schedule will be: Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm

On 9E you will hone your skills working with lumbar drains, telemetry, tracheostomies, gastrostomy tubes, heparin drips, IV antibiotics, and antiepileptics.
- Number of beds: 22
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnoses: ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, brain tumors, cerebral aneurysms, shunts, trigeminal neuralgia, and neuromuscular degenerative disorders
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

- Patient Population/Typical Diagnosis: Pre/post-transplant care for Kidney/Pancreas and Liver Transplant patients with End Stage Kidney/Pancreas and Liver Disease
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3-4

- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
