Look no further than 9E, where you will collaborate to provide top-notch care to patients recovering from strokes, seizures, brain surgeries, and various neurological conditions in the acute care setting. On 9E you will hone your skills working with lumbar drains, telemetry, tracheostomies, gastrostomy tubes, heparin drips, IV antibiotics, and antiepileptics.
- Number of beds: 22
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnoses: ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, brain tumors, cerebral aneurysms, shunts, trigeminal neuralgia, and neuromuscular degenerative disorders
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

Unit Information:
13 bed Oncology unit plus 2 inpatient Hospice beds for a total of 15 beds between units. Chemo is administered regularly to Oncology patients and close monitoring is required. Comfort and end of life care is provided to our Inpatient Hospice patients. Patient Ratios typically 4-5:1 for Oncology and 2-3:1 for Hospice. Nurses can work in both the Oncology and Hospice areas to cross-train for both units. Bio-Chemo Therapy is required and training is provided if needed.

LPN OP, Salary: $20.86-$34.67/hour, The grade and salary of the position are based on specific criteria met within the qualifications of relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity. This position is eligible for shift differentials.
