We care for hips, shoulders, knees, and toes . A fast paced 28 bed Orthopedic and spine unit where patients receive expert care by a compassionate Magnet award winning nursing team. :). Spine fusions, laminectomy, tumor excisions, fractures, and even infections just to name a few. We focus on post -operative ambulation and patient discharge education. So if you enjoy discharging your patients home or to rehab sign up to work with this awesome team.

This 22-bed unit cares for a high concentration of post-op surgical patients, including surgical oncology. In addition, this team supports patients with complex comorbidities, including heart failure.

7E is a 23-bed Medical Cardiac unit that admits complex medical patients and patients with cardiac issues, primarily heart failure.
- The cardiac patients are placed on telemetry and are monitored by the unit staff/remotely by highly trained telemetry techs.
- All nursing staff are skilled to identify heart rhythms and are given heart failure education.
- Every staff will complete a needs assessment survey once they are hired to evaluate learning needs followed by educational sessions as necessary.
- This unit ranked one of the highest scores in the Press Ganey Staff Engagement Survey in 2021.
7E is a Complex Medicine Unit serving General medicine, medical cardiac and Research patient population. This unit received the prestigious AMSN PRISM award (Premier Recognition in the Specialty of Med-Surg) in March 2023. The AMSN PRISM Award is co-sponsored by the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) and the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB). The AMSN PRISM Award provides special recognition to the exemplary practice of medical-surgical units. This is the third unit to receive the nationally recognized PRISM award in the state of Georgia.

5G is a 16 bed Medical unit with an emphasis on care for patients with complex medical comorbidities. We have 2 dedicated physicians onsite with a dedicated Unit Educator. We follow a Care Zone Model for patient assignment.

This 38-bed Cardiology Telemetry unit primarily functions as a Cardiac Step-Down floor with an emphasis on cardioversions, pre/post pacemaker ICD implant/explant and failure patients. All new hires participate in EKG, dysrhythmia and heart failure and device therapy course as part of orientation.

- 22 bed unit, Medical Oncology / Hematology Unit. Treat solid tumors for surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Treat Sickle Cell patients. Chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products administered.
- Patient Ratios typically 4:1
- Once you obtain your Chemotherapy/Biotherapy & ONS Certifications, you will receive $.54 more per hour on this unit. (Manager submits to compensation /payroll)

This 36 bed Cardiac Telemetry unit cares for 100% cardiac patients that require cardiac telemetry monitoring. Three beds are cardioplastic recovery rooms. You will be able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will also monitor Cardiac Arrhythmias throughout the unit. Provide care to patients with complex cardiac conditions such as pre and post pacemakers, AICD defibrillator, Cardiac catheterization, PCI, and many cardiac interventions. Also nurses have to be provicient in EKG interpretation.
