Fast paced free standing 50 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC). Providing care to patients with respiratory, neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, oncological and other critically unstable patients. All patients require education and many require airway management. This facility offers- wound management, HD (Hemodialysis), PD (Peritoneal Dialysis), LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) to aid in reaching their optimal level of recovery. They are Disease Specific Certified by the Joint Commission in respiratory care, wound care, and acquired brain injury. Patients require an interdisciplinary approach from physicians, nurses, rehab, respiratory, wound care, and case management- all on site. If critical care interests you, this would be a wonderful place to start.

We are a fast-paced 22 bed medical-surgical Neuro Vascular unit with emphasis on these patients. We are Stroke Certified and Magnet recognized. We foster a culture of valuing support, encouragement, learning, empowerment and fun. Types of cases on this unit include post-op craniotomies, fem-pop bypasses, amputations, PVD, blood clots, seizures, strokes and more.

Emory University Hospital would like to invite you to join our Complex Medicine Unit.
- We offer an exciting opportunity to work with a high acuity and diverse patient population that is comprised of, but not limited to, acute/chronic renal failure, endocrine dysfunction, pulmonary disease, infectious disease, gastrointestinal and liver disease, dermatology disorders, congestive heart failure, multi-system failure, malnutrition, geriatric patient disorders, and conditions requiring radioactive treatments.
