Have you ever dreamed of being a part of a team that provides exceptional care? Come join our award-winning complex surgical team and guide our patients to new horizons as a lung transplant nurse. On 8E you will be working with chest tubes, epidural, PCA's, tracheotomies, telemetry, various cardiac drips, and mixing and administering pulmonary hypertension medications.
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnoses: Lung abnormalities and malignancy, esophageal and gastric obstructions and perforations, AAA or thoracic aneurysms, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac valve repairs, and peripheral arterial disease
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3-4

You will have the opportunity to master skills such as insulin drips, heparin drips, peritoneal dialysis, chest tubes, trachs, tube feeding, NGT placement, peripheral IV placement, blood and biologic administration.

- Typical Diagnoses: Renal Failure, Liver Failure, Sepsis, Infectious Disease, Diabetes, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Hypertension, Heart Failure, Hematologic Disorders, Autoimmune Disorders, Clinical Research and more
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

Are you eager to be a part of a nationally acclaimed neurology and neurosurgical team? Join us in the Neurosciences ICU where you’ll hone your skills working with ICP monitors, arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, tracheostomies, gastrostomy tubes, CRRT, VAD, temperature management, multiple drip titrations, etc.
- Number of Beds: 40 ICU Rooms and 2 Acute Stroke Resuscitation Rooms
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnoses: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Ischemic Strokes, Hemorrhagic Strokes, Autoimmune Diseases, Epilepsy, Brain Tumors, and Meningitis
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2

Do you want to embark on a dynamic healthcare journey in our fast-paced admission unit? 11E is the Care Initiation Unit (CIU) where we provide exceptional care of patients awaiting their inpatient bed assignment. We are an acute care admitting unit that initiates the plan of care until patients are transferred to their specialized units. Our 11E nurses work with telemetry, central lines, tracheostomies, heparin drips, insulin drips, and administer blood products.
- Number of Beds: 24
- Patient Populations/Typical Diagnoses: Non-ICU general medicine, surgical, neurosciences, and oncology patients
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
