About the unit: (Oncology experience preferred, but not required. This unit is willing to train if you have a strong interest in Cancer care.)
- 48 bed inpatient acute care area, population focus is post-operative Oncology surgeries to include gastric, colon, liver, breast, pancreas, kidney, bladder, prostate, GYN cancers, limited post-operative GYN surgeries associated with incontinence.

The CVICU RN provides highly specialized medical and surgical care to patients with a wide range of life-threatening heart conditions including freshly implanted LVADS and post-op heart and lung transplants.
- Number of Beds: 36
- Typical Diagnoses/Patient Populations: Heart and Lung Transplants, ECMO, LVADS, Complex Cardiovascular Surgical Patients
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
