We're seeking a Clinical Quality Coordinator (Registered Nurse / RN) responsible to gain an understanding of the rules & regulations and structural understanding of internal & external metrics-produce data. This indvididual is responsible for data collection, presentation and dissemination, registry/regulatory compliance and publicly reported data. They will use data to drive improvement to identify performance opportunities in data analysis, team facilitation, and regulatory reporting; including:

Health Data Analytics:

• Apply procedures for the governance of data assets (understanding data abstraction specifications)
• Acquire data from source systems
• Design data collection plans for KPIs
• Integrate data from internal and external electronic systems
• Use statistical and visualization methods

Patient Safety:

• Identify and report patient safety risks and events
• Collaborate to analyze patient safety risks and events

Quality Review & Accountability:

• Execute measure requirements
• Facilitate practitioner performance review activities

Performance and Process Improvement:

• Apply procedures for the governance of data assets (fielding data requests)
• Implement standard PPI methods.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's in Nursing.
• Minimum five years of experience working in a complex healthcare work environment.
• Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
• CPHQ preferred.
• Knowledge of Quality Improvement Methodology, Data Collection and Analysis and Improvement techniques.
• Position specific experience or certification may be preferred based on various additional duties.
