 Preferred qualifications: 

  • Care of surgical patient and IV sedation experience 
  • Ambulatory experience is preferred but not required 

Description

8am-5pm / Monday-Friday / Full Time

 

We are seeking a capable Nurse Manager who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population.

 

  • Plans, coordinates and directs the daily operations of a specific section/division.
  • Supervises clinical staff and facilitates communication with physicians and internal administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
  • Is recognized as a change agent and routinely leads efforts to strengthen organizational systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department.
  • Adept at creative problem-solving, negotiating conflict, and collaborating with others.
  • Demonstrates insight, judgment, and clinically sound risk-taking.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of experience as an RN with one (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • All nurses employed in roles requiring an unencumbered nursing license must have a valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • Certification preferred.
  • BLS required and ACLS certifications may be required in designated departments.
