Description

Are you looking to enhance your nursing career by gaining experience in an Acute Care setting?  Working in Complex Medicine on an Acute Care floor will do just that!  On HG you will work with a variety of patients seeking medical and surgical care.  You can strengthen your knowledge and competencies by working with insulin and heparin drips, tracheostomies, blood products, IV antibiotics, intravascular and central line management, and surgical drain devices.  

 

  • Number of Beds: 8-bed 
  • Patient Population/Typical Diagnosis: diabetes, lupus, hypertension, infectious disease, renal failure, behavioral health, bowel disease, respiratory disease, SEPSIS, gastrointestinal bleeds, Pre/Post procedural patients, and altered mental status
  • Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:  1:4
