Description

  • Will coordinate the services and program, participate in growth by improving efficiencies, standards, and performance of the Robotic team. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the da Vinci robot. The Robotic Coordinator acts as a clinical liaison and oversees the technical and clinical aspects of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Program across all affected specialties. This position is the communications link to physicians, office personnel, nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals and patients and their families. This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards for responsive service and professional documentation, maintaining current and accurate policies, procedures and practices.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • All nurses employed in roles requiring an unencumbered nursing license must have a valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience directly related to the Operating Room. Ability to communicate effectively, be self directed and comfortable with managing multiple responsibilities of the program, including clinical, administrative, educational and promotional components. Ability to work effectively as a team member and be accepted in a leadership role. Extensive experience working closely with physicians and proven ability to again trust and credibility. Good verbal communication skills. BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
