3200 unit is a Med-Surg unit with 35 beds, 12 beds are Long Length of Stay. These (LOS) are medically stable patients who are in the hospital greater that 28days with placement issue. 2 rooms are safety rooms occupied by behavioral health patients.
The remainder of the beds are occupied with regular med-surg patients from KP, Hospitalist/Nephrology services.
Nurse to patient ratio is 1 t 5:6. PCT ratio 1 to 12:14 patients.
Remote Telemetry is available for 16pts. Other skills include Peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).
RNs should be EKG/NIH/BLS and ACLS certified.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
