Here's How it Works:

As residents, you will participate in the residency program while simultaneously completing your department orientation. Each month, you will attend a four-hour learning session and work on an evidence-based practice project, which must be completed by the end of the 12-month residency prgram. Attendance is mandatory, and you will be paid fot the nurse residency sessions. During these sessions, you will have the chance to interact with clinical experts, collaborate  on resolving clinical challenges and gain valuable insights into the resources available to support your practice.

Cohorts:

  • Cohorts are determined based on your start date. Applications for the Nurse Residency Program are always open, and if hired, your cohort will be determined by your start date.
  • For consideration for the Critical Care Units, having clinical experience, externships, senior practicums or have taken specific courses as part of the nursing cirriculum is highly preferred.
