- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Two years' experience as an RN with a minimum of two years of experience in the area of concentration.
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Nursing certification preferred.
- Completion of formal preceptor training workshop.
- BLS required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
- If promoted internally or hired externally, the incumbent must complete UNE criteria requirements within nine months of promotion or hire, including completion of Enhancing your Communication HLC#6488.
